The first month of the year was a very productive one for the GloriaFood team. We released two new features, a new payment gateway, a video all about our sales-optimized website service, as well as a series of articles tackling menu development, restaurant marketing, and essential restaurant tools.
New Feature: Adjust Your Food Menu Prices in Bulk
To ease the transition of restaurants in Croatia to EUR, we have released the Price Adjustment feature that allows restaurants to:
- Adjust the menu prices in bulk by a desired rate (%)
- Apply the adjustment to all menu items or only to choices & addons
- Apply a rounding rule (upwards, downwards, or to .99) following the price adjustment
In your restaurant’s admin dashboard -> Menu -> Other, you will also see a message that will help you better adjust your food menu prices to EUR levels.
Important note: You need to manually change your restaurant currency to EURO.
New Feature: Delivery Estimation
Starting now, you will receive a delivery estimation (actual drive time and distance) in the accept orders screen of your order-taking app for delivery orders. This will help you provide your customers with a more accurate delivery time. The estimation takes current traffic into account.
New Payment Gateway: iVeri
Great news: you can now take online card payments via iVeri in South Africa!
To benefit from this payment gateway, follow these steps:
- Create an Enterprise account with iVeri by accessing https://iveri.com/
- Access our admin dashboard and go to Payments -> Card & other payment methods to purchase the Online payments service
- Insert the iVeri Application ID & Certificate ID, as shown below:
Please keep in mind that the processing and payout to the local bank account are in your local currency.
